| In Spring 2008, Chef Amee would like to put together some great group field trips, otherwise known as ...Foodie Trips. Have you ever thought about what happens behind the scenes at AJ's Fine Foods Grocery Store? What about visiting one of the largest international grocery stores in the Phoenix area- Lee Lee's Oriental Supermarket in Chandler (They have foods from the Caribbean, Netherlands, Japan, Korea, England, Sri Lanka... amazing stuff!) Exploring new places is inspiring to the Young Chef. How about giving your nose a real workout by visiting Penzeys Spice Shoppe and discover spices and herbs that you've only heard about. Local farmers always seem to make time for young people, why not check them out and buy great foods to play with at home? |
