Playing with Food
with Your Culinary Companion, Chef Amee
The Parents'
Viewpoint

"I just wanted to thank
you for such a wonderful
class... the girls had such
a great time and enjoyed
all they learned...they
hated pesto sauce and
now they love it!  They
love to try new food now
and want to make
everything in site!"

"...after your class they
are so open to new foods
and herbs.  thank you
thank you thank you.....

I personally think that
every child should take
your class so that they
learn there is more to life
than just
Jack in the Box,
and macaroni & cheese."

-Sabrina N.
"My 9 year old son,
Jacob, loves cooking
with Chef Amee.  The
first class my son took,
she taught them all about
vegetables and one of the
entrees that they made
was an Asian Stir fry.
My son LOVED it!  On
the way home he asked
me to stop by the Asian
Market to make it at
home.  We have made it
three weeks in a row..."

"At the Asian grocery
store my son recognized
the whole form of a few
spices and he wanted to
grind his own spices
with a motor and pestle.
I was impressed.  In just
two classes Jacob has
become a much bigger
help to me in the
kitchen, cutting herbs
and chopping garlic.  He
is much more aware of
what good food does for
his body, too."

"Chef Amee is very
gifted in teaching young
aspiring cooks.   I see
great patience and clear
explanations.  She lets
them feel, cut,and taste
the ingredients and tells
them the health benefits
of the foods.  I will be
signing him up for more
classes!"
